Open to middle and high school students
Session One (June 14th - July 9th)
Beginner’s photography is a low-stakes class open to 5-9 graders who are looking to improve their photography skills, a basic life skill that students can easily apply to their lives outside of class. This class will go over camera basics, such as how to use a digital camera, and will also teach students photography “rules”. It is a small class, so students will have more individualized attention. This class will meet twice a week for five weeks, with optional but encouraged homework assignments for students to experiment with photography concepts learned in class.
11 a.m. PST on Wednesdays and Fridays, 1 hour classes
