TUTORS A-D

 Irene Abraham is a sophomore at the Downingtown STEM Academy in Downingtown, PA. Academically, she loves science and engineering. She plays volleyball for her high school and participates in various clubs and activities including the Science Fair. In her free time, Irene watches and plays sports, hangs out with her friends, and listens to music. She's very excited to be a part of Quarantutors!

Erin Ahn is a sophomore at The Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, CA. She is a member of the California Scholarship Federation (CSF), and is a part of Tri-M to give back to her community.  Her favorite academic subjects are math and biology.  In her free time, she practices her clarinet and volunteers at the greyhound rescue.

Ahmed is a high school senior who is very academically oriented. He is currently taking seven college level courses right now. He enjoys biology and economics. When he has free time he likes to play chess or read a book. He also enjoys watching Korean Dramas on Netflix.

Lucy Allebest is a junior at Mountain View High School in Mountain View, CA. She loves history, literature, Spanish, dance, and theatre (especially Shakespeare). She is a master organizer and loves to color-code lists for fun. She recalls that prior to COVID-19 she liked things called "friends" and "travel," but now she's wondering if maybe all of that was just a dream. 

Priya is a sophomore at the Maret School in Washington, DC. She loves writing and reading, and has a knack for languages. She swims both for school and for a summer club, and is the co-founder of a creative writing club at school. She also holds an editing position on the staff for her school paper as Style Editor. 

Sachin Allums is a rising senior at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy high school in Austin, Texas. In his free time, Sachin enjoys swimming, playing the string bass, and creating card games. In the future, Sachin hopes to pursue a career in the field of education and academia.

 Annabelle is a high school senior who will be attending Johns Hopkins University next fall. She’s an outgoing, friendly, and curious person who loves helping others. Her favorite subjects are history and science, but she does equally well in all her classes. She runs track, is a member of the Model United Nations club, and more. She is excited to help anyone who needs it!

Rohan Anand is a junior at Shady Side Preparatory School and has a passion for helping others. Rohan has tutored kids from 3rd to 6th grade in the past and enjoys playing badminton and tennis. He also has a passion for social justice and has started a club at his school that allows kids to comfortably discuss their views on current affairs. 

Sonja Anderson is a high schooler in the PNW and is interested in all things science or history. She is a competitive rope jumper and has been for 8 years. Sonja also has a passion for art.  

María Belén is a high school senior based in Quito, Ecuador. She is looking forward to studying Communication at college. She speaks Spanish, English and French fluently. In her free time, she loves baking and reading. She loves trying new things and meeting new people as a way to amplify her vision of the world and its diversity. 

Bethany Ang is a tenth grader at Maranatha High School. She loves science and coding. Additionally, she is a captain of a science olympiad team and hopes of being a forensic chemist or chemistry teacher when she gets older. In the past she has tutored through her school’s National Honors Society. Outside of school she loves learning about cows, playing with her cat, and watching movies. 

Sophie is a 17 year old and a rising senior at The Bay School of San Francisco. She enjoys playing tennis, going to the beach, and listening to music. She is also a member of the student equity, inclusion, and diversity leadership program at her school.

Suha Afzar is a rising sophomore at Franklin High School, WI. She is passionate about learning and her favorite subjects in school include business, English, and math! Outside of school she enjoys playing tennis and participating in Future Business Leaders of America and other clubs. She spends her free time reading and hanging out with her family and friends. 

Samina Aziz is a senior at Union Catholic Regional High School in Scotch Plains, NJ, with a passion for math and Spanish. Samina is proud member of the Achieve Foundation, another tutoring program. Samina has made a huge difference in every one of her students educational lives. She also enjoys baking, binge watching TV shows, and drawing in her spare time. 

Nathan is a sophomore at Henry M. Gunn High School with an interest in the computer sciences. He enjoys gaming with his friends and teaching others how to game. Outside of computer-related things, Nathan plays soccer, plays the violin, is a part of the school orchestra, and is a Life Scout in Boy Scouts. He loves working with kids and is looking forward to getting to know others.

Saanvi Bapu is a high school student in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has a passion for teaching and enjoys subjects such as history, biology, chemistry, and English. In her free time, she does classical dance and loves to read.

 Julian is a straight A student enrolled in all honors and AP classes at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees Township, NJ. He has received multiple academic achievement awards throughout both middle school and high school in all areas of study. Julian plays soccer, basketball, and golf, and also enjoys football and lacrosse. He is patient and here to help!

Delfina Bell is a senior at St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco with an interest in math and science. She excels in her rigorous academic coursework and enjoys tutoring, volunteering, and participating in school clubs such as MedCats (a club geared towards students interested in the medical field). In her free time, Delfina enjoys hanging out with her friends/family and babysitting.

Paige Bell is a junior at Notre Dame School of Manhattan in New York City. She's 16 years old and loves to play tennis, dance, and run!  Her favorite subject is English and her goal is to lead every student to success!  She is so excited to be part of Quarantutors and is very patient, kind, and friendly! 

Lindsay Best is a junior from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her favorite subjects in school are math, science (biology, chemistry, and physics) and history. Her favorite activity outside of school is walking her two dogs, Cooper and Murphy. 

Ankita Biyani is a high school student in the Bay Area. She is passionate about Biology, Math, and Spanish. In her free time, she loves to bake, read, and play the piano! She is also a member of her high school swim team. Ankita loves to work with students and is excited to share her knowledge!

Kennedy is a fun, caring, compassionate, and academically driven high school student. Her favorite subjects to learn are English and Spanish. She loves spending time with her friends and family. After graduating high school, she hopes to pursue a career in nursing. 

Caleb Blumenfeld is a rising junior at The Bay School of San Francisco with a fondness for everything STEM-related. In addition to his passions for computer science and electronic music production, Caleb loves getting outside and competing in team sports. He also likes to spend his time agonizing over classical piano pieces and playing video games with his little sister.

Lucie is a junior at Los Gatos High School who likes history, reading, and writing. When she's not at school, she can be found cooking and baking while watching Netflix dramas or learning about obscure historical events. She is fascinated by law, having completed a law internship, and plans to pursue a career as a public defender after college.

Lachlan Bond is a rising senior at School Without Walls High School in Washington, DC, who is interested in history and environmental conservation. Outside of the classroom Lachlan leads the Model UN team and is a member of the cross country team.

Bryanna is a rising 12th grade student who is passionate about STEM related classes, her favorites being physics and math. She also partakes in her school's chapter of the Junior Classical League, an organization which promotes classical learning and involvement, and has attended every convention since the sixth grade. Bryanna is also a part of her school's environmental club.

 Eliza Boyle is a junior at Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, CA. She hopes to pursue a teaching career and currently works for her local community center to put on events for the town. She loves taking long walks with her dog and is on the varsity lacrosse team at her school. 

Niha is a junior at Presentation High School in San Jose, CA. She is passionate about the medical field and dedicates her time to research, speech, and debate. Her favorite subjects include math and science. She loves to run and also participates in cross country. Niha loves working with children and is excited for this opportunity!

 Luke is an honor roll student who excels in his studies. He is currently taking pre-calculus, physics, English, and forensics classes. He is looking forward to the college application process next year to further his education.  Luke is also very interested in sports.  He has played for his high school soccer team and is excited for varsity next year!

 Stevie Brown is a student athlete at Cherry Hill High School East in Cherry Hill, NJ. This year, she played JV soccer as a freshman, and played a pivotal role on the freshman basketball team. Outside of school, she plays travel soccer and hangs out with her friends. She also loves watching Netflix and Hulu. 

Bella is a high school junior from Oklahoma who aspires to attend MIT or Georgia Tech to be an engineer. She is the captain of a competitive robotics team. Bella also loves singing, drawing, rock and roll, and dogs.

Corey Bryton is a junior at Tufts University majoring in biochemistry and is originally from outside Philadelphia, PA. Outside of his schoolwork, Corey does e-cigarette research, gives tours to prospective Tufts students, and volunteers at a local shelter for children experiencing homelessness. 

Chelsea Burton is a senior at Deerfield High School in Illinois. She runs for the cross country and track teams at her school. Chelsea is in the band program and has learned a total of five instruments, beginning when she was six. She is hardworking and studious at school but always loves to make fun memories too.

Caroline Caggiano is a freshman at Staples High School in Westport, CT. She's 15 years old and a competitive tennis player. Her favorite subjects in school are history, math, and Spanish. When Caroline is not studying or playing tennis, she volunteers with the organizations Circle of Friends and Horizons and loves spending her time with children of all ages.

Ethan Caldecott is a senior at The Webb Schools of California in Claremont, CA, with a great interest in math and science. Ethan enjoys working with programs such as GeoGebra and Desmos to further his understanding of graphical concepts. Beyond academics, he likes working out and playing sports, particularly football, where he is the starting quarterback of his team.

Xam Calugas is a rising senior at Stevenson School. She is passionate about science and its medical applications. She has taken AP Biology and AP Chemistry during her junior year and joined John Hopkins' Medical Intensive and Physiology programs. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, basketball, and badminton. 

Max Camp loves math and thoroughly enjoys school. Max is also a cross country and track runner at Christ Presbyterian Academy. This upcoming year, Max will be in a handful of AP classes.

Mycayla Canlas is a High Honors freshman at New Hope-Solebury High School in Pennsylvania.  Her favorite subjects are Math, English, and Science.  She participates in Model UN & Key Club. She plays on the school's Basketball, Volleyball & Softball teams. Mycayla wishes to pursue a career in social justice. She enjoys meeting new people and helping anyone who needs it!  

Genavieve is a 10th grader at Lick Wilmerding High School, she loves math and science, specifically biology and algebra, and she aspires to work in medicine. Genavieve has two dogs named Jelly and Ziggy who she loves to play with in her free time as well as reading dystopian/fantasy novels and watching "The Office".

Helena Carrino is a senior at Jupiter Community High School, FL. Aside from school, she is a member of her school’s marching band and Wind Symphony, as well as having a part-time job at her local grocery store. She is a devoted student who loves learning about English, history, and global perspectives.

Laurel Caruso is a sophomore at Miss Porter's School in Farmington, CT.  She participates in her school's student council and is a coxswain on her crew team.  Laurel focuses on tutoring students in Latin and math and is also a tutor at her school.  In her free time, she enjoys reading and going on runs in the park. 

Logan Castellanos is a math-loving senior who also enjoys a good novel. She is the president of the Math Honors Society at her school and is a regular tutor at Math Lab. A fun fact about Logan is that she is a competitive beach volleyball player, and goes to the beach at least three times a week.

Chris Cervini lives in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Activities such as baseball and golf take up most of Chris's free time. His future plans are to study law or business in college. A fun fact about Chris is that his birthday happens to be on Valentine’s Day.

Arthur is a junior at Monta Vista and a member of the boys' volleyball team. He enjoys learning about STEM. Outside of school, he is a lifeguard at a local pool and has previously played club volleyball. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball, hanging out with friends, and watching the San Francisco Bay Area sports teams.

Chloe Chan is currently a junior and has a variety of interests, but mainly focuses on English, Math, and French. She is an outstanding student with multiple academic and musical recognitions and in her free time loves to play tennis, volleyball, read, and hang out with friends. 

Natalie Checherina is a freshman at The Bay School of San Francisco with an interest in anything math, art and architecture related. Coming from a trilingual household, she speaks Mandarin, Russian and English and has lived in Russia for a year before. Aside from academics, she can be found skiing, playing tennis, practicing on the piano, reading and watching anime!

Alexander Chen is a sophomore at Menlo School in Atherton, CA. He is interested history and computer science. He is also involved with the robotics, speech and debate, and Model UN teams at his school. In his free time, Alexander likes to play soccer or video games with his friends.

Eric Chen is a junior in Irvine, CA who thoroughly enjoys STEM courses and activities. With a 4.30 GPA, Eric has a strong aspiration for Physics and Mathematics participating in a variety of STEM related competitions such as the AMC, AIME, and F=ma. In addition, Eric loves to play the cello and is an avid tennis player. 

Katie Chen is a rising senior at Lynbrook High School, incorrigible Grammar Nazi (Long live the Oxford comma!), and patron of the humanities. A lifelong writer, she indulges in poetry, journalism, and all of the wonderful things in between. She is the soon-to-be Content Editor for the Epic and runs WhyWeShouldCare, a youth political review, and Luminary, a STEM publication. 

Steven Chen is a rising junior at the Delbarton School. His favorite subjects are english and biomedical science, as he is interested in studying medicine in the future. He enjoys music in his spare time, both through playing the clarinet and relaxing to his favorite playlist. 

Vivian is a sophomore in the pianist conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts, and she is a building event captain on her Science Olympiad team. Vivian has won various piano competitions, from regional to international, and she also enjoys performing piano solos for senior homes. During her free time, Vivian can be found birdwatching, reading, and hiking with her family.  

Dara Cherkas is a junior at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, NJ. She focuses on both academics and athletics, serving as her school's Model UN Captain and playing Varsity Softball. In her free time, Dara loves to read books and go out with her friends! She is excited to help younger students succeed with their schoolwork! 

Anisha Cherukuri loves to read and play with her dog. At school she participates in Mock Trial, the Human Rights Club, and the Quizbowl Team. She loves math and science, as well as teaching other students about it.

Taylor Chin is a junior at Lowell High School in San Francisco, CA. Her favorite subjects in school include math and science, and she wants to pursue engineering when she grows up. In her free time, she likes to play tennis and bake desserts.

Chloe Cho is a sophomore at Beckman High School in Irvine, CA. At school, she enjoys her role as a cheerleader and competes with her team. Math and Science has always been her favorite subjects in school! Outside of school, she plays the violin and piano. In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends/family and watch netflix.  

Sung is a rising senior from Pennsylvania and for most of his life, he has been a math person. But he also loves writing in his free time and has been nationally recognized for his poetry. When Sung isn't writing, he enjoys listening to music. When he isn't listening to music, he is up late at night eating chips.

Pakhi Chopra is a junior at Flint Hill High School in Oakton, Virginia, with an interest in genetic engineering. Her favorite subjects in school include everything math, science, or english-related. Outside of academics, Pakhi enjoys painting, drawing, cooking, and spending time with her friends outside.

Jocelyn Chow is a junior at Lynbrook High School who loves helping others in whatever ways she can. She hopes to become a family therapist in the future. In her free time, she enjoys playing games with her family, babysitting, and going out to eat with her friends. Recently, she started a blog to share her passion for journaling. She is excited to start tutoring and hopes you are healthy. 

Ai Ling Chow-Yen is a rising tenth grader, with a passion for helping others. She enjoys reading, writing, dancing, and acting. She has been in many clubs, including Debate Club, National Junior Honor Society, cheerleading, and has attended many theater and poetry workshops. Ai Ling is excellent with children, and hopes to be the tutor you are expecting! 

 Vivek Chudasama is a junior at Los Altos High School in California. He is an avid debater, athlete, and tutor at Mathnasium. Outside of school, Vivek enjoys hanging out with friends, participating in track and field, and tutoring!

Paige Coderre is a 15 year old girl who loves learning and expressing her creativity. She’s a great student who’s favorite subjects are math and history and she’s a passionate artist/painter. Paige has a goal to gain more experiences to learn and grow as a person. She loves working with kids and always tries to be as helpful and patient as possible. 

Alyssa is a senior at Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh PA with a passion for science, engineering, and art.  She is a peer leader, prefect in the dorms, scribe, and Head of the club for Animal Rights and Education. In her spare time she tutors, rows, and is a producer and designer for the Pittsburgh Youth Fashion Show. 

Margo Corsig is a sophomore at Saint Ursula Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is interested in language arts, especially writing, and loves helping others in this subject. She has been on her school’s honor roll throughout high school and middle school. All of her academic success has led her to earn a GPA of 4.00 last year. Outside of school, she enjoys playing field hockey and skiing.

Blake Daniel is a rising junior at the Academy for the Arts Science and Technology in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Blake loves to spend her time at the beach, reading, or watching lots of movies. Academically she is very passionate about history and english. Apart from school Blake spends her time on her schools tennis and is captain of her schools soccer team.

Pranavi Dantuluri is a rising freshman at Enloe High School in Raleigh, NC, who has an interest in math and science. As an organizer and speaker manager in TEDx, Pranavi has a lot of experience in helping people speak on a public platform. Pranavi got a DukeTIP medal for her SAT score and enjoys labs, research, and posters. Outside of academics, she dances, sings, and plays the violin.

Savannah Davis is a sophomore at Vintage High School in Napa, CA. Some of her favorite subjects include math, biology, and Spanish. In addition to her academics, she is on her school's water polo and swim team. She is also a member of her school's Bring Change 2 Mind club. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga and going to the beach.

Olivia DeGregorio is a sophomore at Hopkins School in New Haven, CT, and has been on the school’s honor roll for the past 4 years. She is passionate about English, Science, and Italian, and aspires to become a forensic scientist in the future. Olivia also enjoys volleyball, squash, and skiing, as well as spending time with her friends and family outside of school.

Izzy De Leon is a rising sophomore at Sage Hill High School in California. She enjoys speech and debate, is on the volleyball team, and plays varsity soccer. Izzy also enjoys math and science. She works as a Teacher’s Assistant at her Sunday school and in her free time she enjoys painting, seeing her friends, and going to the beach.  

Olivia dePenaloza is 17 years old and a junior at Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts. She loves math and has been studying Mandarin for 11 years. Outside of academics, Olivia loves theatre and is part of her school's Mock Trial team. Olivia is also co-president and founder of her school's service club. 

Katie DeRose is a sophomore at Trumbull High School in Trumbull, Connecticut. Her main interests include math and physics, but she enjoys a variety of subjects. Katie is active in her school as a Varsity “mathlete” and founder of her school’s National History Day club, among other things. She also acts as a coxswain and rower for her rowing team.

Samay Desai is a good student who is very determined and passionate in the work that he does. He is a good team member who plays soccer for his school. Not only a student, he is a volunteer firefighter at the Mt. Tabor Volunteer Fire Department. He is a very hard worker and loves helping people in his community

Lahari Desireddi is a freshman at Prospect High school in Saratoga, CA. She is passionate for math and science but is also involved in things like speech and debate. Lahari is invested in helping out at her local library, her school's badminton and tennis teams, and is the president of the Model UN club in school. 

Karishma Devgun is a rising senior at the Math and Science Academy in Woodbury, MN. She is passionate about math and biology and hopes to pursue a career in the medical field. She currently volunteers at a local retirement community near her school. Outside of school, she enjoys accessing her creative side through figure skating and playing the piano.

Alexa DiSabato is a sophomore at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco. She loves learning new and different things, especially in subjects like english and math. When she's not in school, Alexa plays soccer and often goes on walks with her dog, Brando. She loves spending her free time reading or hanging out with her friends.

 Carolann is a sophomore at Lynbrook High School. She is a tennis player for her high school's team and is also an active member of her school's FBLA and Key Club. When she is not doing schoolwork, Carolann enjoys binge-watching TV shows on Netflix, drinking boba, and spending time with her dog. As of right now, she is still unsure of what she would like to pursue in the future. 

Karina Dovgodko is a rising senior at the Math and Science Academy in Woodbury, MN. She is passionate about math, physics, and computer science. She is the president of her school's Science Club, a co-founder of her school's Science Fair, and a programmer on an FRC robotics team. In her free time, she enjoys reading and learning languages (French, Spanish, and programming).   

Melina Drazien is a passionate math and science sophomore at the Marin School of Environmental Leadership at Terra Linda High School in San Rafael, CA. Melina  is hardworking, upbeat, and loves working with people and helping out in her community. She also enjoys dancing ballet, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with loved ones.
