Tutors to Help You Succeed

Quarantutors was the difference between struggling with online schooling and excelling at it. Earlier in the school year, we had hired a tutor  to help our son with math and it was OK, but, through Quarantutors, he was paired with Eliza, a neuroscience major at Barnard. He had such an easy rapport with her and her teaching was more accessible than anything we've ever experienced. This service is truly a godsend!

Thank you so much for organizing student tutoring during this pandemic crisis.  Our children are at risk for the lack of education from schools and teachers who are not equipped with distance teaching.  You recognized this concern and made a difference for all of us. 

My son, Jaiden,  is so blessed to have Kate Mason as his English tutor.  As an upcoming senior in high school, Kate exhibits professionalism in each of her sessions.  She is well organized, mature, listens to my needs, and demonstrates positive encouragement.  She never assumes that "you should know this," but patiently reviews and explains the topic and goes back to the basics.  She is more compassionate and knowledgeable than some teachers I have met.

Jaiden previously expressed in one of his writing assignments that he doesn't like tutoring, but now he appreciates having Kate work with him.  This is a transformation.

My daughter is in grade 4 and I was looking for a tutor to help with her reading comprehension & spelling. Initially I was wary about Quarantutors because the tutors were mostly students and I was not sure whether schedules for sessions would be consistent week to week. Now, we are almost 10 sessions in and her tutor has been on time, consistent, could easily engage with my shy daughter, would give me summary at the end of every session, and include homework sheets. We have used many tutors in the past (having 3 children, one in college) and my experience with Quarantutor has been excellent! I have recommended it to a few of my mom friends as well.

Hello Quarantutors,

First and foremost, I want to say you girls and guys are doing an amazing job. This summer was not a usual summer but you guys have shown that kids can turn around any situation faster and better.  You were able to kick start an idea and bring to fruition, deliver results and impact the community in a positive way like nobody else. 

One of your team members, Aryan Lalwani, did an amazing job with Biology. My son has not studied biology till date as he is just a six grader but Aryan has motivated him in a very positive way. He was able to explain the kids a very complicated topic in a simple way & at the same engage the group as a whole. My son is now looking to explore Biology in the year 2020 and expand his knowledge in the subject.
